Auto top up/down with remote.

Just got a email saying they finally programmed a setup for our Camaro convertible. Vettes and many other vehicles had this for years. Here is a link.

The web site seems to indicate that the "window up" option is only available via a separate OBD module for 2018 and older Corvettes. It doesn't sound like they offer that feature for the Camaro yet.

They use Top Down Tech's module called "Window Valet"that plugs into the OBDII port for the roll up/roll down of the window. It says it fits 2016 Camaro. Probably will need to just give them a call to confirm it works for later cars.

If you read the Operation and Programming manual on their site it states:

"IMPORTANT: Due to technical limitations it is not possible to close the windows on Corvettes 2017+ and on all Camaros. The manufacturer of the OBD chip has not found any solution for this yet, so the chip is being discontinued."

I was fixing to jump on this until I saw the bit about the windows. If they can resolve this issue then I will be pounding on their door yelling "Take My Money!"

The manual states NOT to run the top very many times with the car off, it will kill the battery. QUICKLY.

The lack of window control is a deal breaker for me.

I always put the top down after engine start while it is warming up. I put the top down after engine stop because the batt is fully charged by then. I always change a batt after 4 years no matter what.
