LT1 Off-idle Stumble

Could anyone with a manual SS help me test this to determine whether my car is unique in this stumble?

Shift to second gear, let speed drop to idle. Hit gas quickly to quarter/half throttle.

Under these conditions, my car has a pretty significant stumble - almost like a flameout. Not sure if this is unique to my car or whether all LT1s behave this way, as my engine seems to be pretty healthy otherwise.

Thank you all!

I think it is common. I never noticed it when my car was stock, but after putting my Corsa Cat-back exhaust, I notice it more times than not.

I asked this question in other threads and it seems to be a common thing. Maybe it is the stock cam profile, cause that is what it sounds like to be, like an aggressive cam (like the sound that Eleanor gives off from "Gone in 60 Seconds")

Ya that’s not a normal driving condition

There are spots in the off idle map that can create a stumble - but you don’t see them during actual normal driving

And I feel you on the beer. Just one. But a tasty strong one. Space dust.

Sorry, OP, that is what I meant in my post as well, the right off idle stumble.

The condition you are describing sounds like an issue, as I do not have that and haven't heard of that before.

Yep my 2016 SS with the 6 speed had it too! Haven’t noticed it in my ZL1 yet!

Hm - I'm hearing some mixed results, but it seems like I may not be the only one to have this issue. It's been getting a little better with some driving (long term fuel adjustments?), but I can still get it to happen consistently if I give it a boot full just off idle.
