Noise from rear axle at low RPM in 1st and 2nd

When I start from a stop I get a groaning sound out of low RPM first gear and also if I'm low RPM 2nd gear from the rear axle. Has anyone else had this before? I get it if I go from reverse to first especially or on a hill start

I get the groan first thing in the morning while turning. Then it goes away.
My car was just in the shop for this and they couldn't replicate it.
I'm going to leave it there overnight and then take the tech for a drive.

My wife's Camaro also is doing it now.

I've heard a few out of the diff that caught my attention, was brief, and was going at low speeds

I'm not sure if it's the diff, it happens even if I don't turn, and it happens always doesn't matter hot or cold. I can replicate it at any point in time

What I heard sounded like it came from the back, and was a low heavy groan, I think I may have even been between gears when I heard it, ruling out the trans, I don't know what else would generate a sound like that besides the differential
