Wait or Buy now
On the fence whether to get a Used model or just wait maybe next year a new generation of Camaro might arise.
Any news for a new one being built? |

6th gen runs through 2023 and as of now there are no plans for a 7th gen.

Buy a Camaro now WW! The 7gen development has been shelved!

Wait another month or so, 2020s hitting the lots now and dealers will want to get rid of 19s before they get too many 20s and winter.

If you are on the fence, I would wait until late December. Although there are many rumors about best times to buy a vehicle, I think the end of year theory holds true. There are some people here who used to be in the car biz who might have more insight. I have gotten my best deals shopping existing inventory in December.

It's a trade-off of inventory vs. best deal. You get better deals on 19's each month from here, until if gets to the point there are so few left that Chevy stops giving the rebates.
But as that process moves along the inventory dwindles. I have had pretty good luck in finding the car I wanted at the right deal in Sept, Oct and November - especially as you get into Thanksgiving nobody is buying cars. But if you find the car you want now - get it. Good chance it won't be around in another month or two. If you don't care much about what exact color or options you end up with - you may get a better deal in November / December - unless they sell them all, which can happen. If you are looking used - none of that really applies. When you find the right car at the right deal - buy it. |

I would try and wait for better incentives on the 2019's as the 2020's roll in.
