Finally got my Whipple to the track

Well, with a full weight 2SS, 20” wheels, stock manifolds & primary cats, and the ultra-conservative 3.625” pulley on my Whipple, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But I did get one run in today with a decent 1640 DA and knocked down a 10.87@128! Later in the day I backed it up with a 10.86@127 in a slightly higher DA. The KingLT1-approved 20” drag radials (Nitto 555R) hooked like a charm! So even with only 7 psi of boost, it feels damn good to join the 10-second club. Thanks to all of you for the help along the way, but I feel like this is just the beginning...

Which size 555R did you go with? Stock SS wheel?

Yep, these worked out great. I aired them down to 20# and gave them a good burnout.

Thanks. I just looked back and found some pics posted of how they look. Glad to see they fill the wheel well and perform like they should. That combo might be the direction I go next
