5th cylinder missfire
I got headers installed in my 2016 SS and got a 5th cylinder missfire code after a while. I installed new spark plug wires and it still seemed to missfire a little but no more CEL. Could it be a bad spark plug?
Any feedback is highly Appreciated |

Perhaps coincidental, perhaps not. I think you are on the right track. Perhaps when the headers were installed they did not remove the spark plugs and bumped one of them and cracked the core. I would definitely replace, or at least swap the spark plug with one from another cylinder and see if the problem moves.
I say coincidence because a failed injector can also cause a cylinder misfire which would have been unrelated to the header install. But I would start with the plug.
