29 mpg is good, but not hard to do over only 50 miles.

My friend has a 2019 2SS and we drove to Road Atlanta, he consistently got 2-3mpg better than my 1LE

I'm taking my SS on 430ish mile trip mostly hwy in about a week. Curious to see what kind of mileage I get.
I currently get about 17.5 in mixed driving calculating my hand. Computer always reads (lies) about 19-20. |

I avg about 20 mpg but don't do much highway driving.
It does seem like it gets better fuel economy the faster you go. Cruising at 85-90 reads about 30 mpg... in my 1LE 6-spd. |

I averaged 28.5 in my 2017 RS V6 with the problematic 8 speed auto. With my 2016 LT V6 manual so far I average even better- 33.5, with a best of 37.5 on one trip. This is on my work commute- 60 miles round trip- flat roads, driving 45-60 MPH, a few stops here and there, AC off, just me in the car.

That screen is useless. Post your trip average over the last few hundred miles.

12.8 mpg lifetime average over 2 & a third years of ownership.
A six mile commute (mostly stop and go city driving), few long highway road trips, and the fun of winding out each gear (which in city driving means I might as well have a 3 speed transmission) has its cost. |
