Used pricing, good deal??

Hey everyone!

I'm in the market for a 1LE, finally after coveting them for a couple years now. I would like to get opinions on the pricing I found.

2018, 1SS 1LE with PDR, 4k miles. I've landed at $33,100 after negotiation. What's everyone's thoughts? Seems like a fair deal, I just want to make sure I don't miss the mark here.

I've shopped new and I know there are a couple dealers out there that advertise these in the 35-37 range. But by the time they back out incentives I dont qualify for and add in fees and crap they all end up at about $40kish before ttl...

If it's the color you want, looks clean, has good tread on OE tires (you can check the tire date code), caliper paint not scorched, rear quarter paint in front of the rear tires still good, and certified.
Yeah.
Sounds like a decent deal.

Thanks for the tips. Where can I find the date code on the tires?

It will be on the sidewall, a four digit code in a stamp oval. First two digits are the week, second two are the year.

Perfect, thank you! If they're dated recently, a new set of tires in 4k miles sounds like alot track day use possibly.

Which isn't really a bad thing

The 1le you found does seem like a good deal! Yes, i found that nearly every new ss 1le price under $40k is including the conquest incentive and not including freight, that's ~$3k! I really wasted a lot of time watching pricing on the car sites. I don't think the new price really varies as much as it might seem. Just ended up ordering a ss 1le + PDR and it ended up being ~$41k

Agreed my experiences have mirrored yours. Spent a few weeks working toward a new one. Could never get below a little over 40k before ttl. And that was working with the big dealers across the country.

I bought my 2018 1SS 1LE about a year ago for just under $41K out the door, it had less than 20 miles on the odometer. You're getting the same car plus the PDR for not quite $8K less and it has 4k miles.

At first glance it seems like a fair deal, but it depends upon what those miles were like. If it has new tires already then those miles were pretty hard. I got 17K out of my original tires, just replaced them a couple of weeks ago.

I get a monthly driving report on which I usually score a 10 out of 100. Any way you can get access to the past reports?

If that price is out the door then its a really good deal. If its not then its still pretty good. I bought my 2018 hyper blue SS1LE with PDR for $34799 pre tax. It was CPO with 467 Miles.

That is an important point and worth a little extra money.

I was just in the market for one myself & looked for about a month before buying & I think that’s a fair deal. Ended up finding a 2SS 1LE for 37K OTD & jumped on it instead. I had to travel almost 6 hours though.
