ZL1 1LE Delivery... What to look for...

Picking her up tomorrow. I was wondering if there was anything specific to this vehicle that I should be checking for before accepting delivery.

I get looking for scratches, dents, upholstery etc. More interested in things you guys have seen that I may not be looking for.

Thanks

I don't know if the 1LE comes with spring spacers for transport but that'll be something to look for. 90% of dealers still forget or don't know to take them out. Even though it's right in the delivery inspection instructions they're supposed to follow.

Make sure all the front and rear aero pieces are put on at the dealer. Harpinc bought a super low mile used 19 & none had been. We threw it up on my lift and did it plus weighed it full tank (3860#). Getting an A10 or M6?

Check the underside of the splitter. Mine had one minor scrape on the right side. Luckily it was completely on the underside and was not noticeable looking at the car straight on. Even down near the ground. You have to poke your head under the car.

Either way, id look at the rockers and splitter to ensure no one scraped them up too bad during a test drive.

Make sure all the paint matches on the car. Some crush owners were complaining about the skirts being a different shade than the rest of the car

Skirts? Are you referring to the black?

Some of the 19's had gloss black skirts instead of satin black. They should be satin black to match the rear fascia and front splitter.

No, the actual orange.

Spring spacers, track aero kit, owner and performance manuals in the very fancy zip-lock.

Download the GM app.

What aero kit parts are installed by the dealer? The ZLE doesnt come straight from the factory with the splitter, canards, or wing?

How can you tell if the spacers are still on the car or not?

All of the trim in the pic plus the rear LCA covers.

Pretty positive the regular ZL1s with Mag ride get the spacers but 1LES don’t get spacers.

Looks like I have some checking to do on my 19 ZLE.

It's at the dealer for headliner replacement due to "mishandling" of the first few 19's.

Looks like I might be part of the gloss/matte side skirt issue too

Can someone show a pic of the rear LCA covers?
