Camaro conversion
Alright ,the top part of the picture is my current 2012 1lt (v6 3.6 LFX) and the bottom is a beautiful camaro I found online. What steps should I take to transform my current into the bottom. I’m not looking to go 100% exact but just the whole style is so much better looking imo.
Here’s my current list of “Want to do”s: 1. New wheels 2. Ikon/Duraflex 5th gen to 6th gen zl1 style bumper conversion kit 3. Rgvshelby’s 6th gen style headlights What else do y’all think I should do? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've got the same car as you minus the aftermarket wing and black stripes. Upgraded mine with driving lights and 20" wheels from a '17.
Honestly, yours looks better than the 6th gen but i can understand updating with an aftermarket grille, side skirts and a T5 front splitter as i've been playing with the idea myself. The big issue is the approach angle and how much damage would result from a much lower and longer front end which is why i haven't so far. Here they love to run low drains where two roads intersect or parking area approaches/exits and some get pretty severe. Splitter death for sure.

Thank you so much! Do you think I should go with the wheels I already have with lowering springs or just get bigger wheels with no lowering springs? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you want the ‘look’, you may want to get 6th gen wheels or repos.
Otherwise wheel choice is up to you ;o) -Don

Myself, I wouldn’t do that. My rev limiter is set to 7500 RPM as my engine is forged and designed to run that much if necessary.
Have the tune done and that can be setup if need be... -Don

I doubt it would if you keep within the max rpms rated for the engine - like I noted, it’s not something I would do — especially if something breaks and I’m $ challenged;o)
