HUD shifting lights
Last two times I drove my car I noticed the shift lights on the HUD aren’t working or work sporadically. I’ve noticed it in every drive mode. Everything else on the car is working fine.
What am I missing here ?

I have only ever seen those lights in first gear in manual mode. If they light up in additional gears I have never noticed.

Are you talking about the red markers that show up or are you talking about the ones that tell you which gear you are in?
For the red ones, I am going to make an assumption you have to hit a set gear RPM or speed for them to light. IMO While on the street, mine have only every lite to shift from 1st to 2nd. On the track I would think are a different story. |

I’m talking about the shift lights (they progressively light up as you get closer to red line) not the number that tells you what gear you’re in.
I just drove the car and I guess I must have been babying the hell out of it. I got it past 5 thousand RPM and the lights came on.
