Why did the clamp get loose?

I was driving on the roadcourse and this clamp got loose. My first track day it got loose and this is the second time it got loose. And yes I made sure it was tight beforehand. Are the clamps a one time use or something?

Im gonna assume your talking about those intake clamps since you didnt specify but thats probably something you want to take up with the manufacturer of that kit. Maybe they have large tolerances

it was probably junk to begin with or over tightened. go to the auto or hardware store and get a better quality one for a few bucks.

One side is attached to the chassis, one side is attached to the engine. Your engine might be moving more than than the flex coupling has play in it.

One of the clamps from rotofab is smaller than the other. Did you put them in the correct locations?
