AWE Tuning Resonated Touring Catback with Performance Link Pipes Review
I love cars with awesome exhaust notes. My previous 2 cars were E92 M3 & F-Type R. Both cars never lacked in sound and are arguably some of the best sounding cars in the market today. When I first bought my ZLE, I was a bit disappointed by the stock exhaust. I felt you really couldn't hear the LT4 unless the valves were open and even then... it still wasn't enough for me so I immediately wanted a new exhaust.
I started my search and narrowed it down to Corsa & AWE Tuning. Corsa sounded amazing but it was a little too loud IMO. After speaking with Josh @ AWE, I decided to go with their Resonated Touring Catback with Performance Link Pipes (secondary cat-delete). I also ordered black tips to blend everything in a bit better with my diffuser. 4 weeks later my exhaust showed up and I couldn't be happier. Quality of the pipes, welds, and packaging was all on point and exactly as I anticipated. Install went smoothly with no hiccups since everything fit like a glove. The moment I've been waiting for... I started the car and wow.. it sounded amazing! You can immediately tell the car just sounds more angry now. Revving the engine gives you that angry tone with small burbles at the end. Car is noticeably louder but it's not overwhelmingly loud that it sounds just like any other Camaro's on the road. There is zero drone with this setup and I'm really happy with the sound. Now I feel it completes the car and it should've came this way from GM. Take a look at the video below and I'll be happy to answer any questions! I'll be recording more vids as well but the weather in DFW right now isn't ideal |

Sounds fantastic. I really wish AWE had the same setup that could work with the NPP function of our stock exhausts.
I have a toddler at home and nosey neighbors, I love the idea of putting the exhaust in stealth mode when I get home or leave home.

Yeah I can see how the valves would help with your situation. Maybe they’ll come out with it one day! Sound really is fantastic though.

OP, did you notice an ever so slight vibration swapping from OEM exhaust to the AWE? I have the same exact setup and have a very subtle high frequency vibration that I can now feel coming through the gas pedal. Not 100% sure it's from the exhaust but I suspect it is...

She sounds mean, love it. I also wish it was NPP compatible. I'll be in the market for an exhaust soon, but want to retain NPP.

I have the resonated touring version with high flow cats and LT headers and it's VERY loud. Loud enough that when I start it up my friend can hear it in the next street at his house. I'm surprised you found the Corsa to be louder. I've never heard it, but it must be insane...lol.

I have this exact same system (Touring, Resonated, Link Pipes) and agree with your assessment 100%. Absolutely love it!
