orange?

Hey guys, I just saw an orange camaro that looked pretty sweet. It looked like the current gen, but I don't think it was a hot wheels as it didn't have stripes and the spoiler and wheels were different. Any idea what it could be? After a quick internet search, it looked like orange wasn't offered in 16 or 17 and only on the hot wheels in 18, correct? I know its offered in 19 and I may end up looking at one, but I like the front end of the 16-18 cars better and would consider a low mile used one if I new where to look and if they even exist.

It's called Crush, one of the premium colors. A $395 option.

As noted above, GM calls the orange "CRUSH". It was available on the Hot Wheels special edition car in 2018 and added to 2019 Camaros as an upgraded colour.

So, if you like the colour, you'll either need to find a Hot Wheels Camaro OR get used to the look of a 2019 Camaro. Personally, I would look for a 2018 Hot Wheels camaro. There are still a few around on dealer lots and you might even get a deal on one at this point.

You may have to be prepared to buy one at a distant dealer but I wouldn't be too concerned. Get a cheap flight there and enjoy the ride back !

Cheers !

I found several hot wheels editions at a decent discount, but I think its just a little too much with the orange interior and such. What I would like is something like I saw, a 17 or 18 regular 2SS crush with preferably ceramic interior. But it sounds like they don't exist. There is a 19 nearby spec'd out like that, but is loaded and listed at 49k. They are asking 47 I believe, but I want to be no more than the 40k range.

I felt the orange knee bolsters took it over the top so I changed them to black suede. I feel the same about all the color matched bolsters and did the same with my 16 with Kalahari

I doubt the 19 front is with a 18, but I bet the 1LT or LS from a 19 would work although it would be pricey.

btw hotlap, that interior does look better like you have it. I guess that package isn't bad, I just don't like the fact that it pretty much comes just one way. I mean no options except for the trans and maybe MRC, correct? If you could get it say without the stripes, different wheels, ect. it would be more appealing to me because I would hate to have an exact car as other people even though its a limited edition.

I guess a 19 with black wheels and black stripe doesn't look too bad in this color, but 47k asking price for one I found is way too much. I wonder if the discounts will be better when the 20 ordering opens up?
