2019 SS Sales in Phoenix

After 10 weeks an orange SS was sold from corner pedestal in busy intersection. Today Chevy placed a white SS in it's spot. I'll be tracking that one too, to see if the design is what going on or was it just the orange one.

Not exactly a scientific method of determining what drives sales.

not really, but i know the dealer and saw it there, and it's the same thing at the next closest dealer.

Uhhh what? It's more likely dealers place bright colored cars up front because they catch the eye better than a black / dark colored car.

They may have sold it to another dealer.

But what about the 2018s that have been sitting on dealer lots for months and months?

There are many, many factors that can contribute to a sale. Does the dealer advertise? Is the dealer aggressive with their pricing? Does the dealer have a good reputation? Does the car in question have questionable or non-desirable options?

You can't judge whether a front end design is hurting the sale of a car by using one dealership.

So basically this is just another '2019 bad' thread?

Orrrrrrrrrrrr, they weren't willing to deal and it sat for XX weeks. Next.
Mine sat unmoved for 18 months and had a dead battery and 4 flat spotted tires when I took delivery. As stated above, there are myriad reasons why a vehicle may not sell.

At a dealership near me they still have 17s and 18s , the 2019s they had sold . They are selling really good in this area , should only get better as it warms . I think a huge part is how much better the refresh V6 looks , the SS 1Le seems to be selling well also.

Isn’t Phoenix like the Florida of the southwest?
Mostly where cotton tops go to retire?
Buick’s probably fly off the showroom floors!

Oh and orange is a very polarizing color. You either love it or hate it.

Buick sales here will go down and Caddy too. Seniors want a sedan and not tight cockpit like Regals. On my Dealer lot I saw a Caddy C4( new model) on Buick lot with 5K on miles. He probably traded in in for one of the last LaCrosses. My Buick dealer has 2 LaCrosses left, all decked out for 47,000. Chevy sales will dip too, Impalas, Cruzes are discontinued too.

BTW the Carolinas are new new hot senior retire spot.

Its not the 60s or 70s or even 80s anymore. Most young males hate hot cars and prefer a Toyota Tercel POD or simply Texting as opposed to driving.
