Install 2019 or 1le Spoiler on 2SS?

I am contemplating buying a 2018 Camaro 2SS just like my previous 2016 2SS. Only problem is, I hate the trunk spoiler. It probably has no practical value and it doesn't fit the style of the car. However, I love the appearance of the 1le spoiler and the 2019 deck lid spoiler.

Has anyone replaced the standard SS spoiler with one of the two mentioned? If so, does it cover the holes for the standard spoiler?

If you manage to get anything from the year 2919 you should definitely rock that!

I'm pretty sure the 1LE will not cover the center hole(s).

I went to YouTube and found an install of an aftermarket spoiler and there are lots of holes when you removed the standard spoiler. But, dummy me, didn't look at the window sticker or pictures of the car I'm buying and it has the spoiler I wanted as an option. So no need to worry about it. Here's a pic:

That is the spoiler that comes on the SS when you order the RPO blade spoiler (like 1LE) that the dealer installs.

My old 16 was the first blade spoiler SS. Here are pictures from its arrival and delivery.

Weird they left the 6-cylinder spoiler on it.

Yes, very happy.

In HotLap's post it looks like his spoiler is a three piece after delivery. I wonder if there are two end pieces that the dealer installs after delivery. Does anyone know?

The whole spoiler will be changed. The car was ordered with the blade spoiler or the high wing spoiler. The spoiler would be shipped to the dealer separate from the car. I took delivery of my car and then took it back a couple weeks later to have the spoiler switched.

That is an RS spoiler, but who cares. Looks better than stock SS one IMO.

It arrived with the RS spoiler on the car. The painted blade spoiler was sent to the dealer’s part department for installation. That was Becky when she was at Rodgers.

I got the RS spoiler, that was taken off for the blade install, in the trunk. I still have it.

check your window sticker. There should be another spoiler with the car. Don't let the dealer keep it

I got this spoiler from next gen speed. They have terrible customer support but it was the only place I found a spoiler line this that would cover the holes. As for the spoiler I love it and completes the look of the car.

Looks awesome! Did you have to drill into the quarters? What was the cost of the spoiler?

No it’s held on with a lot of double sided tape. If prepared properly that stuff won’t come off. It’s made to cover all the ss holes and I have gotten the car up to 130 with it on and it hasn’t budged.
