Questions About Ordering Camaro
Hey guys so I finally made a decision on what exactly I wanted to do about a new vehicle or at least I thought I had. Now I’m starting to think if I wanted to wait till MY2020, I’m not in any rush for a new vehicle so I have no problem waiting. A few things I wanted to know were if there are going to be any changes for the new MY when would we know about them? As well as build dates and when ordering would be open? I tried using this https://files.constantcontact.com/9b...0a71e9e840.pdf but I could only tell when production begins and not actually when orders can be placed. Appreciate all the help.

A new SS front fascia is reportedly fast-tracked for production. In my view it's not much of an improvement and to be honest it makes me want a '19 SS even more since 20 years from now it will be the hard to find collectors Camaro.

Good thinking. Walk into a dealer on December 31st and make an offer on one of the '19s they can't sell.

![]() The 2019 is fugly! The front end looks like the illegitimate offspring of a Dodge Charger and a Honda Accord. Nasty. The bugged out, bulging tail lights don't do the rear end any favors either. Single piece hood scoop looks cheap too. Huge reason I went with a 2018. They need to completely go back to the drawing board on the "redesigned frontend". It looked great from 2016-2018.

There hasn't been any more news on this topic i can find. And i'm not sure what's being reported in that article is news. In the key sentence, they use "It's said". Well, who said it? It’s said that the look, which colorizes the cross bar in the center fascia and moves the bowtie logo to the upper grille opening, is being fast-tracked for production, and replace the 2019 Camaro SS fascia as it stands. If you guys are talking about the grill we saw at SEMA I will say that I think it looks amazing and I might be going against the grain when I say this but I believe it’s looks way better way better than the first iteration of the 6th gens. But I have my mind set on a 3LT and I don’t believe they will be changing those.

Honestly I’ve seen several 19’s on the street and think they look fine. I prefer the 16-18 front end, but wouldn’t kick a 19 out of bed 😀

Overall I don't care much for the 6th gen Camaro's design, yet from the A pillar forward I thought the '16 looked great. The '19 I will admit looks better in person than in photos but those wrap-around fender tabs really don't work for me.
Still, when I'm driving I can't see the outside of the Camaro. Hell, I can barely see outside the Camaro. And the '19 has the A10, which due to back problems is what I need to get. So I figure, why mess with a dodgy A8 when I can get an A10 and a discount on a car nobody wants? Last edited by AlphaDream; 03-17-2019 at 01:06 PM. |

That's a real shame, the Camaro wasn't exactly selling well beforehand. In March 2017, when I bought my car, there was still a fair selection of 2016 cars sitting on lots with huge discounts attached. At this rate the best Camaro ever may become the last Camaro at least for a while. |
