Rotofab + green filter?

Has anyone put on a green filter with the rotofab intake? I know some have just cut up their stock box and put on a green filter with good results. I’m wondering if the green filter would be a good bump in power over the rotofab dry filter?

dyno results vary, but I have been underwhelmed with on track gains from a Rotofab. They do look great for the car show scene.

I’m not sure on part numbers yet. I was going to measure the dry filter and contact Green filter. I imagine it should be better.

I recently bought a Rotofab off a friend but the filter he gave me is not going on, my tuner suggested I get a Green filter on the Rotofab because he said when he dynoed his 700whp+ G8 it picked up another 10whp over the Rotofab with a green filter. I’ll let you guys know all the details once on

That would be awesome! I’m looking into doing ported SC and flex sensor at the beginning of the year. The Big Gulp might still be too much for my set up but if the green filter adds a few hp to the combo that would be a good addition.

Anyone got a good link to this green filter? Is it from K&N?

You just nailed it. I did dyno before and after RF install and the graph was identical. Still looks nice with the hood up though.

I also got rid of the pink overflow tank and added a Granatelli one. No power their either, but it's all good...

I don’t know the size of your filter, but take a look here and see if this is what you’re looking to purchase.

Well that link will do it. If they make a filter to fit the RF, it will be there!

Thank you very much for the link.

Guys are seeing increased performance just by replacing the stock filter element with this green filter?

I can't comment on any performance increase since I didn't dyno before and after. But I will say switching back and forth between the OEM paper and green filters there seems to be a slight improvement in throttle response with the green.

At $44 (Summit Racing price) a green filter is a pretty cheap mod. And even if it doesn't provide much of a performance gain, you're not out a lot of money.

Thank you. I’m gonna hit up summit racing for one of these.
