ARH mufflers

I found a ARH axleback for a steal. The only problem it is dual tip, my car has quads. I would like to just weld quad tips on these mufflers. I dont know how the single tips will line up in my diffuser. Any information on this??

The reason his price is low in my opinion, is largely because the market is pretty small for the dual-tip. When I was shopping Camaro SS cars, I only saw ONE SS at a dealership that had the dual-tip exhaust instead of NPP. ALL of the others had the NPP with 4 tips. This was at several Chevy dealers at the time.

As far as modding the wrong exhaust to hack it onto your car, guess it depends how much of a hack and pain in the butt you're willing to put up with. Honestly, buying the wrong part because 'it's cheaper' almost always ends up with an unsatisfactory conclusion in my opinion.

I'm actually buying the full system headers back. Just didnt know if it would be simply putting new quad tips for the mufflers. If not I'll post them on here for sale.

An exhaust shop should easily be able to add the tips and get them aligned in the opening for you.

I personally don't think that would be a good idea to hack up the exhaust. Buy new or used quad tip

"hack up" how do you think the piece of straight metal became an exhaust. Its not hacking it up. Its simple cut and weld.
