Those With NPP AND Aftermarket Exhaust...

Got the 11925 installed the other day, went to pick up a fuse -- couldn't find the one I pulled.

Put fuse in, started car. Waited. Valves stay open.

Yes, wires are connected and I don't think there is a way to mess up putting the actuators on the aftermarket pipe.

Would like to hear from anyone with this same experience or wisdom!

Thanks, Chris.

Might be a dumb question, but did you put the exhaust in stealth mode? That's what closes the valves.

Hello. Appreciate the thought; however functionality is a bit different than just a mode. There is no stealth mode on my vehicle either.

Any electro-mechanical engineers out there?

At some point I'll first detach the electrical connections and hook up the multi meter to see if some DC is getting to the actuators. I've even swapped the 15 fuse out for another to see if that's the problem.

Hunch is it has to be power to actuators. Don't see how actuators can be put on the valves incorrectly.

Other part of this is the sound is amazing. No drone. Not too difficult to drive relatively quiet either. In the gas is a symphony. A veritable potpourri of auditory mana from heaven.

This impacts my motivation to troubleshoot. Bit of a PITA to disconnect the actuators wiring given space and my mits for hands too.

If your car originally came with npp then it does have stealth mode

Indeed. Just saw this when in settings yesterday.

stealth closes the valves 100% of the time, even on startup.

touring opens on startup, then closes most of the time, unless you go almost wot, then they open.

sport and track open on startup and idle and most cruising until you are cruising about 40mph then they will close partially, but always open 100% on wot and close to it.

Mine will not close on startup. I've put in touring mode before parking, and set it to stealth in the screen, and it still opens up with a huge bark before quieting down...

This happen to anyone else??

should never open in stealth. here is the exhaust rumble on a factory file, 0 touring, 1 sport, 2 track, 3 stealth.

0,1,2 are active meaning they open when you first start it
3 is off so it should stay shut during start up

What does the "exhaust rumble enable" do?
Is that what creates the pops and crackles?

I know it should never open in stealth, but my neighbors and wife beg to differ. Not sure how to diagnose what is happening.

the valves are easy to see from the backside. just look at them while the car is started. in stealth mode they shouldn't move at all. in touring mode, they should open, then close shortly after starting.

my car is by no means quiet, but it is noticeably quieter when started in stealth mode.

Stealth on start up

Mine has open exhaust on start up even in stealth also. Pretty loud on start up but it settles down pretty quick.
