Just took delivery of my zl1 1le. Very dirty but it will be getting detailed tomorrow. I'm coming from a c63s amg and I can already say that I like my zl1 already more than my c63s. Such a beast of a car and can not wait to start modding it. I will be posting the build progress on my insta- Ksmith_zl1

They shipped it in an open trailer and I'm not very happy about it but hey it can be washed. So its whatever, just happy to have the car!

It probably did! It was such a good deal that I couldn't pass it up. Dealer was awesome did everything over the phone and through mail. I was going to get one closer to me but I went to New Smyrna Beach and they were just a joke of a dealer.

Agreed! They did have some of the best deals when I was looking as well, that was until my dealer realized I was serious and more than willing to drive a state over to buy, then they came around. How much did you end up picking it up for? Did they give you a good rate on shipping?

Anyway, congrats! You will love it!

It was 60k before tax. then 66k shipped and with tax. Great deal. The dealer in New Smyrna didn't take me serious. They had it listed at 63k then changed it to like 66k or 68k I think and it was 72k after tax. Offered 68k after tax and they didn't take it. So I walked outside, called Chicago in their parking lot and bought the car over the phone. They called me a few days later begging me to buy it for 68k. They were just a little too late lol

Sounds like a very similar deal to the one they had worked out for me. I text my dealer one last offer the night before heading to Chitown to buy the white one Phillips had, and they wisely accepted. Otherwise, the outcome would have been very similar to yours. Congrats again!

Thank you very much! Yeah I should've made another offer but they pissed me off so I didn't want to make another offer to them or do a deal with them. Just glad I have one now!

Picked up my ZL1 last month from Phillips as well. Awesome prices if timed right. One of the few dealers I would purchase from again. Best get some paint protection soon. Congrats on that bad ass purchase! Have fun during the 1500 mile break in.
