How much would you guys value my car?
2016 Camaro 2SS in red. Dual mode exhaust, navigation, 5 split spike rims. Very good condition. Was in a front end accident that wasn’t my fault. 32000 miles.

No one here without inspecting the car will be able to give you a very accurate value. They would also need to know the extent of the damage and see how well it was fixed. OR a lot of pictures. Get on: NADA.com KBB.com both can give you a good ballpark value.. Load the info into site and be honest about the condition. The sites have trade in and private sell pricing. That would be the place to start.

Absolutely the best used car value instrument is the Manheim auction reports. That will tell you not what some service says, but what dealers in your area are actually selling/buying the car for, as it goes through the auction. This truly is dealer cost in the used car industry. The report for Florida comes out of the West Palm Beach auction.

Private party sale maybe $25k. If it hadn't been in an accident then maybe $27k
That's just my guess after looking through Auto trader just this past weekend. |

You can also hop on Autonation and Carvana to get some instant pricing right off the bat. You can then either take those which is a fairly seamless process, I’ve used Autonation twice to sell my car but not Carvana. You can also use them to negotiate if you are buying another vehicle from another dealer.

A local Chevy dealer offered me $24k. They said maybe 25,500 if it wasn’t in an accident. And lol at the guy saying 19k

Kevin, if a dealer offered you 24 grand then you should consider it. The person that said around 19 grand is not crazy. My 2016 had extensive front end damage 6 months after I bought it which all said and done was over $18,000. And like in your case it wasn’t my fault. I checked with my Credit Union a month ago and the CU president who I have known for years told me to expect between 19 to 20 grand for mine if I wanted to trade or sell it. So if you could get 24 grand for yours then I would say that’s a good price. BTW my ‘16 has about 28,000 miles on it and had 7500 when I had the front end collision.

Mine has never been in an accident and this was to Carvana for a flat sell (i.e. no interest in replacing the car with another). If I went into a local dealer I would expect more, especially if I were buying something else from that dealer. This is for my market in Northern VA. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is Autonation. They are a nationwide chain with local dealers all over. If I were replacing a vehicle I’d use their certificate to shop for the best trade-in offer. I’ve sold cars to them twice and always for the exact amount on the certificate. No bait and switch with them. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I've heard a few people got good prices from https://www.givemethevin.com/
I have no experience with them, but they'll make an offer that if you don't like you don't have to accept. Just a thought.

![]() ![]() You’re 2000 miles away from the person who made that post, there are quite a few differences in vehicle pricing on the used market between the two coasts. Additionally, if the car was a rental, that will lower the price quite a bit. If it were a lease it should be offered as CPO and would actually increase the price.
