It looks like that hood has a wrap on it. If so I would think the kink could be straightened and any bare metal covered with primer and then re-wrap it. If not a wrap or the intent is to remove and not replace the wrap then its going to need painting by a professional (unless you have that skill set and the equipment). I don't see any reason someone with decent body repair skills couldn't get that straight again and maybe with no (or very little) body filler.

Improperly packaged most likely. Nothing to prevent corners from contacting the box itself or anything beyond it. Few blocks of foam would have saved that.

You cannot fix that if you try to bend that back the aluminum will crack.
