AFE Power anyone?

I am curious to know if anyone has tried AFE Powers CAI the GT Momento Pro 2 i think its called. They sell a package that includes a Scorcher tune...supposed to increase hp/tq about 50 or so. Also have headers with x pipe and cat/axelbacks....Im just wondering what peoples opinion is of their products??

i have all of their products on my ss and love them but no scorcher module!!

Thank you...im surprised that im not getting more feedback. I was under the impression that this is a a good company and that their CAIs in particular are excellent. RotoFab is obviously the most popular with our cars but someone else must have tried AFE..

yea they are huge in the corvette scene and 99% of cars i see hae the afe power intake but maybe the camaro guys arent as in to them or are just scared of the prices

Here ya go. I have the Pro 5R and a Ktech ported TB. Don't have dyno numbers, but am very pleased with the butt dyno

Right on...thank you for the feedback. Its strange we don't hear more about them on this forum. So this scorcher tune is some generic tune made to fit their cai and/or exhaust? Sounds like if you are going to go ahead avoid the warranty...might as well have a custom tune. Anyone try their headers or exhaust?

like i said i have the intake exhaust headers springs and swaybars and love all of them cept the springs i had to change out too low and ride quality for track use wasnt the best!

made in america and quality is awesome!

Pretty good looking intake. Someone SOMEWHERE has had to put one on a dyno.

Its nice to hear some of you are liking AFE...its been temping me....for the apparent quality the price isnt bad. I am skeptical of this Scorcher tune. Generic tune doesnt seem optimal. Thank you again for your feedbacks.

How's the supercharger whine with this intake???

Slightly more than stock, but not as much as an open filter design. Love blower whine, within reason, but don't care for the sucking sound open air intakes make.
