Black bow ties for key fob?

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if you can replace the golden bow ties on our keyfobs for black bow ties?

Just use a very fine paint pen. That's what I did.

I use a black sharpie, and touch it up every few weeks or so.

The trick we use to use on our duty belts to keep from having to shine the brass as often might work. Color it real good with a sharpie, let it dry, then hit it with clear fingernail polish.

Good idea. I think I might have to borrow my daughters clear polish, lol.

I have painted a lot of bowties, but I hadn't thought of painting my fob tie! Thanks!!!

With big bowties, I tape them off and then spray them with adhesion promoter because that texture is tough to cover. Then I use my compressor paint sprayer, but rattle can will work fine.

Use PlastiDip or any peelable brand if you are worried about messing up. Otherwise just use engine enamel rattle can and it should look great.

I have some glitter paint left so I am going to paint mine like my bowties that match the nightfall grey metallic paint.
