Politics haven't been allowed on here ever and not on Camaro5 for a very long time. I have never seen that as a problem here. That's one of the many reasons I keep coming back.
Instead of making a thread, why not help and report political posts you see. The administrators here do a great job, but they can't be everywhere. That's why there is a report button.

So jealous I didn’t wait 4 months to buy my car. Clearly that’s why I hate it, couldn’t be the opposite, that I saw the fugly, predator mouth, Dodge Avenger looking monstrosity of a refresh unveiled in April then rushed to buy an ‘18 while I still could find one. Nope, just boils down to jealousy of not having a newer by months model

Also, OP needs to grow up. How can you not talk politics on a car site when so many policies shape the market? I’m sure this butthurt is over the EPA thread. A government agency. There’s that, auto tariffs, China tariffs affecting wheel production, NAFTA negotiations driving plant/production decisions. Covering your eyes/ears and humming “la,la,la,la,la” won’t make the political impacts on the automotive industry as a whole disappear and I’ll be damned if some random getting butt pained keeps me from topically discussing politics for fear of hurting their feelings.

It’s the internet, don’t like something, just click off the page. Problem solved.
