Im thinking about some electrical tape to cover, I figure the only electrical going to the mirror is for OnStar so would there be a fuse to disable the whole...just want those lights off or covered.



Ideas?

There is a forum out there for disabling OnStar in our cars. Trying to find it and when I do I'll link it. It will turn those lights off though. From what I remember, it was quite a bit of work though. I'll try my best to find it and link it you.

I would use the tape or something else. You will be screwing the next person that buys the car when you decide to sell/trade it in.

That's really not a concern of mine but tape sounds like a the best route; cheap.
