How many miles can I really get out of my 325's
Hey, guys, it's been a while since I've posted, I'm curious to see what I can really get out of my rear tires.
I purchased my car last year and got a nail in the tires at 4,000 miles and the dealer said the tread was to low to plug. Now I'm at 8200 miles on my car, and the rear tires look very bald. Of course, the ZL1 being a rear wheel drive vehicle with 650hp I don't expect tires to last too long. Still, 4000 miles seems ridiculously low, I don't track the car or drive that fast. I'll do a few occasional pulls and then just cruise. Any thoughts or opinions on this matter would be great.

I've heard of guys getting many more miles out of Michelin PS4's.... That's what i'm considering switching to when the time comes

The R compounds that come on the 1LE really aren’t meant for daily driving. If you do, that’s about what I’d expect them to last, honestly. They’re like a Pilot Sport Cup, Trofeo R, etc.

yeah dude, those stock 1LE tires are not gonna last very long daily driving. 4000 miles is about what you should be getting.

I have 7k street miles on mine - they are at half life but are getting changed out at next track day.
I plug tires myself - dealers dont want to plug stuff - they want to sell tires. also, these tires look bald even when they are new - most likely they had no idea what they were talking about.

I've got about 600 miles on mine and am about to cord them out, before last event I flip mounted them so I may get 1 or 2 more events. So be happy you got 4000 miles at least
