I want the track mode throttle response all the time by default. Any way to do this?

Sorry if this is a repeat but, I needed a quick clarification on something.

I really like the driving dynamics of track mode, however I prefer to keep the steering on "tour" mode for daily driving.

My ideal settings are:
Steering: tour
Sound: track
Suspension: track

When I turn off my car, it resets to "tour" mode
But the individual settings stay at their previous values.

However, there is not an individual setting for "throttle response"

And that's one of the main things I prefer about track mode, is the linear throttle response.

Is there ANY way to get the throttle response to stay in track mode without having to manually scroll through and select track mode every time I start my car?

Steering is way too soft on tour.

FWIW, at the C7 owners school at Spring Mountain they warn about using Track mode on the street. They said that the suspension is so tight that the low profile tires can't protect the rims against damage if you hit a decent sized pot hole at a good speed.

Not sure if this applies to Camaro also

I am also wishing you could adjust the throttle mapping, I am not sure why GM choose to not give us that option.

I am mostly getting used to it though, but I have heard good things about the product above and may try it at some point.

Get a tune... However I find Sport to be good for the street throttle mapping... Track is a little too touchy IMHO.

Track is even a bit too touchy suspension-wise on track, and some folks have found the same (Randy Pobst comes to mind)

??

Track mode is less sensitive that Sport mode on this car.

Sport mode gives you more with less pedal travel, while track is pretty linear and will not give you everything until the pedal is all the way to the floor.

I just wish there was less delay, period. I had to re-learn how to shift smoothly with this car. Plus, it really annoys me that any time you touch the clutch pedal, it amplifies that delay to the point where the car falls on its face when I really need it to get going. I HATE that part of the car.

There is not tune that can do this as well, the drive modes are a function of the BCM and no tune of any sort has access to the BCM.

So in general to answer the OP, no there is not a way to have the car start up in default with it in Track mode.
