Can I negotiate price on ordered car?

As the title states. If I ordered my 1 le would a dealer work with me on the price or no? There are very few if any 1les near me, so I might have to order one. Thanks.

Sure...but it's a lot harder and the dealer holds most of the cards.

I just bought my 2018 1LE, but I was curious since you are in sales, when will there be pics of the 2019 SS 1LE.

Are they not releasing it at the same time as the rest of the 2019 models?

If you want to deal "local" you will have to drive down to at least Baltimore or maybe the D.C. area. There are a couple dealers down there that have large inventory and claim huge discounts. It took me two trips but I ended up with one about 18% off sticker back in March.
In the PA, NJ, NY area the 1LE is very scarce while down in the Baltimore/DC area there were a ton at a couple dealers, Criswell was one and there are two Koons stores with a whole bunch of 1LE's.

I got mine through Koons in White Marsh.
Normal dealer shenanigans.
I've worked at a one dealer or another for over 30 years so I know the games, plus they totally botched the initial delivery so I ended up with a slightly better deal than they wanted.

They will give you decent discounts, but you really have to dig in to get the "wow price".
I put a decent amount down, had a trade, have good credit, and financed through them initially. Four things dealers love, so that made them eager to make a deal.

Once the delivery went south I was able to leverage the car I wanted for the price I wanted.

I ordered a 1LE and started with supplier pricing, which I got through educator discount, but Costco would be the same. I then did some negotiating down from that price, and then incentives do apply on top. The only trick is that the incentives apply on the month that you take delivery, so not on when you close the deal, unless the car is already there of course. I did get some luck and the conquest incentive for 2K off was in effect when my car came in, so I did well in the end. The process for me was long though, I ordered in mid april and got the car in early July.

I ordered my 2018 1LE and got a pretty good discount off MSRP, on top of all the incentives and rebates. There are certain benefits to the dealer by ordering a car. It's a guaranteed sale, so they don't have to worry about a car sitting on their lot for months and months, which costs them money. So they should definitely be willing to deal just like with any other car. Now, are you to get as good a deal as you would on a car that's been sitting on the lot for months? Probably not. But depending where you are, 1LE's are not going to stick around for very long. In fact, one dealer I went to refused to budge on MSRP on the 1LE's they had on their lot because of the interest in them, which is why I ended up ordering and getting a better deal.

I ordered my '18 as well (had to wait 10 weeks!

), and the dealership I purchased from was really great...they even threw in incentives that I didn't qualify for and made sure that I was in the "green" with my trade in AND still saved some $$$ on the sticker price!

I just got my 1SS 1LE sitting in the showroom of a dealership, but 0 discount from the dealership....I went to another dealer, none of them would like to negotiate.

Must be different in CANADA, here in the US, 7K off MSRP is easily attainable.
