HPA Cam Package installed on a 17 1LE

We had this very nice 17 1LE in the shop to get our cam package installed here at HorsePowerAddicts .
Car came to us with a ported Tb, msd manifold and CAI.
We installed our stage 3 cam (car is still running stock non ported heads) ARH 1 7/8" long tubes with cats and DSX flex fuel kit.
We are happy as well as the customer with the results, we gained over 110 RWHP In Mid and Muggy July with our package and this customers round of Mods!

did you drop the pan or did you just flip the chain off? Next time I am going to do it without dropping the pan.

I have a question and it has been bugging me for a while, the cam phaser bolt needs to be twisted 90 degrees. I swear it took me like 150 ft-lbs or more to twist it that much, heck it is only a hollow bolt. Since you do this a lot, about how much torque are you using to get the final 90 degree twist?

to make it worth it, you should really do ported heads and headers all at the same time since that stuff gotta come off anyway...

any idea on the actual torque needed to twist the cam bolt 90 degrees? See my post above. For some reason, mine seem heck of tight for a hollow bolt...

yes without a doubt but I would do the CA performance cat delete's and keep the secondaries so you don't get a bunch of drone. Make sure you get a 2 bolt 2.5" stepped band clamp for the drivers side and you will have a leak free fit.
