Car runs poorly and fan on 24/7 also failed high side pump

Anyone on here after full Bolton’s immediately after have fan running 24/7 just normal driving... and throttle response is terrible ... gotta press on it 50% just to get it to move. Also have apparently a failed high side from factory so can’t run e85 and 93 apparently loses pressure too. Full Bolton’s kooks 2in , 2.3 upper, 102mm throttle body and weapon x intake

Scanning it should give you codes for what's wrong with it.

I would talk to the shop that did the tune. A crappy tune will not necessarily cause a CEL.

Should still do a scan even if no CEL. Also call your tuner to see if he is aware or has gone through this before.

It's your tune or possibly the DTC recall.

If I was in your shoes I'd try this first. Put your car back to the stock tune, do not try to run it. Then put the custom tune back on it and fire it up and see if the same thing happens. uninstalling and reinstalling tunes should reset the ECU as well so if there is DTC tripping something it should clear it. If it still runs like hell you either have a bad tune or possibly worse.

Also make sure you don't have an air bubble in your cooling system.

I hope you paid for and expected a street tune. Get yer money back and go elsewhere. Pure dyno tunes leave HP on the table and can create drivability issues. Always, always ensure a street tune is part of any tune. Your issues could well come from a dyno tune only....and a crappy one at that.

Couldn't agree more with this statement. Seen too many so called tuners do a few WOT pulls, adjust the MAF table, take out some torque management, and charge the customer $500+.

A proper tune should include both dyno and street tuning. My biggest beef with most tuners is they disable the speed density portion of the tune and make it MAF only because they don't want spend the time to tune the SD side.

I have to ask the OP how you know you have a failed high side fuel pump. Did your tuner tell you that? That could be a lot of your problem.

Yeah I don't think they did a street tune at all I called and complained . But also got a call from dealership today and they told me both pumps have failed. Said I should be at 44-88psi when the car is under any type of load and the pumps are maxing out put 36 psi and on the high pressure side falling flat after wot. As for the drivability side. Real cool guy at dealer another zl1 driver recommended me too said guy definitely didn't do a street tune otherwise he'd see off the back your car drives like shit lol
