Drive In Theater

I am thinking of taking kids to a drive in theater, but I am concerned about the radio turning off every 10 minutes. Is there a way to prevent the radio turning off?

If you hold the button for like 10-15 seconds, it stays on for much longer. I just worry about my battery when I do that.

Went to a car group outing to watch Fast & Furious 8 at the local drive in last year. Did the 7ish second hold on the start button (turns green instead of orange I believe). Watched the whole movie with it on, no problems starting the car afterwards

Does said Drive-in not have the old school speakers to place in the windows? When the wife and I go to the drive in that is what we do, unless its to damn hot or starts to sprinkle

there's not many around any more. I love going to the drive in. My local one, you get two movies for like 8 bucks a ticket, can bring your own food and drink its great.

Shame about the back seats in these cars. Back in the day my '70 Chevelle was perfect for the 'drive in'

All the drive ins left my area in the 1980s, I thought they were a thing of the past.

According to the "experts" and mustang fanboy's there's no way in hell you will be able to see the movie from inside a Camaro.

But actually, I am kinda curious how that works out for you, it may be a real problem.

We have one near me with two screens. Each spot to park is on a small knob hill. So you park with front wheels on top and seeing is not a issue at all. Even in the front row. Good times been had at the drive-ins.

Last time I went to a drive in was....1995 or 96 in my 87 Toyota 4x4, and yes, lots of not actually watching the movie.
