Not Downshifting As Expected

Hey guys,

i have been having this issue since coming out of the winter, my car does not downshift if I go WOT between 15 and 45 mph. I took it to the tuners today and he was not able to fix it. He showed me the different downshifting tables and how he was adjusting and nothing was happening. Has anyone else had this issue? Also, not sure if it's related or not, but my car jerks REALLY bad when putting into reverse from park or drive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Jerking from park to reverse might be torque converter issue? If so, that would affect downshifting or any shifting for that matter! Maybe its time to detune and take to dealer for warranty?

Still having the issue. Tuned it back to stock today with only the flex fuel table changed since I still had E85 had in it. Thinking this is more mechanical now that the stock tune had the same issue.

so i had an issue when shifting at WOT in any gear, i mean i am M6 so difference there but my tuner upd the rev limiter up 200rpm so changing a lot of things back to stock ended up fixing everything, but yeah i see now your having the same issues stock so probably something more mechanical.

You might try to Fast learn Reset the TCM using the VCM controls in HP tuners.

Not sure I have heard the tuner mention the fast learn reset for the TCM. Can't hurt to ask if he has tried yet.
