Cleaning wrapped 1LE hood questions
Hey guys I've been struggling to get my wrapped hood up to spec with regards to cleanliness. I've attached a picture for example.
How can I remove these spots on the hood, supposedly gained from cleaning? I've been using Adam's matte detailer to nearly no effect. If anything it feels like it's gotten worse, to be honest. Any advice is much appreciated. This is really bothering me lol. |

It was either Adam's or Chemical Guys that offers a flat black wrap cleaner/protectant. I'm going to pickup a bottle myself.

Damn dude, have you been using a scrub brush?!
*Wet with hose *Microfiber wash mitt with quality high sudsing car shampoo (e.g. Optimum Car Wash), zero pressure applied. *Rinse *Dry with soft microfiber waffle weave, again, zero pressure. *Stop, don't touch it anymore. All those other detailing products are a waste of time on vinyl.

I tested all types of detailing products on matte vinyl. All cleaning products were fine-caused no damage to the vinyl.
Silica SiO2 spray sealants like Gyeon WetCoat, Mckees Hydro Blue did cause spotting on matte vinyl.

Thanks all any additional advice is most welcome. Lol I guarantee the only thing that has touched that hood has been microfiber. I'll try simple soap and water soon and report back.

I haven't tried it yet, but I am thinking after a normal wash and dry, some 303 would be a good LSP?
