Thanks!

Just want to thank everyone for your participation and help in this forum. I went over to the dark side and traded in my 2SS on a Roush Mustang. I'll probably be back in another few years, take care all!

What year is it? I don’t know much about the rouch mustangs, what’s the power and any other performance things that made you switch?

Maybe if you move to the land down under it'll right itself . . . I don't know much about the Roush Mustangs, either, sorry. Saw an older one at a couple of track days being driven pretty cautiously a while back, nothing recently.

No need to become a complete stranger here.

Yes let us know how much you like the Roush compared to the Camaro. Maybe not a fair comparo with all the Roush goodies but still.

Thanks all! While I had my 2016 2SS for a couple of years, I was just looking for a change. I thought about a ZL1 but couldn't locate one locally. Then, while my wife was looking at Mustangs, I ran across the 2017 Roush Stage 3 pictured above. They gave me a decent trade for my Camaro ($29.5K) and knocked about $12k off the $72K sticker of the Roush. Of course some of the reduction was from Ford and other discounts. Anyway, I haven't played with it too much, still in the break in period. It's got a 5.0 liter supercharged engine, cranking out 670HP (not at the wheels of course). Thus far I love it! I am sure I'll get a Camaro again, I switch back and forth although Chevy is in my blood. Had a 99 Camaro SS in the past, that was a great car too with the LS1. Anyway, I'll keep up on Chevy via this forum. Take care and have a good weekend all!

Holy shit, 670 is nice, hopefully it’ll handle the same (or close to it hopefully) and you’ll be golden, good luck with the new ride and as someone posted, please post back here with a comparison. I’d love to read it.

And a vid of the exhaust sound, I’m sure it sounds great!

Thanks, I will do so!!! I can tell you that while the Roush has their "active exhaust" (similar to Camaro's drive modes where you can change the tone - or remove the fuse 51 like I did), I actually prefer the sound of the Camaro at lower RPMs as it's actually louder!

Yeah, I loved the sound of the 4.6, but that Coyote just sounds weird. Has a very European sound like the Jag and Audi V8s. I love the rasp of the LS and LT engines.
