285 vs 305 on a 10" wheel

I can't decide between a 285/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear or 305 square RE71R for my autocross setup. I'm staying in AS so the 10" front wheel is the issue. I believe using the tire that fits the wheel (285) is the best choice, however, this car is heavy and a 305 does fit but not optimal.

I'm running 305s all around on my AS setup with 19x10 front and 19x11 rear. A lot of people freak out about putting a 305 on a 10" wheel but at least with the RE71Rs it's no problem at all. the 305 has barely any "bulge" on the 10" wide, hell it's actually really hard for me to tell the difference in the fronts and rears when they are off the car.

The turn in with the 305s up front is AMAZING, and I haven't noticed any adverse affects of having the slightly too big tires on the 10" wides.

I say go with the 305s, you won't regret it!

The “bulge” was my concern, but since your experience has been good, I’ll go with the 305s.

I’m going to slap them on MRR M716s with the track alignment.

Are you running tpms sensors? I thought about just putting in regular valve stems, but thought against it if I travel for an event.

That's the exact setup I'm running! but no TPMS.

I have the same setup with TPMS.

First time I had to use fire to seat a bead, so that was fun.

I am also thinking about that same wheel/tire setup but with the offset being 23 mm up front with a shorter wheel how much camber are you getting. Are you using a spacer and if so what size. Thanks
