Laser Jammers

Anyone have them installed? What brand/model do you have? Do they work well?

You can't jam Laser. You can jam radar, but it actually takes some effort and resources. If anyone made a real jammer that worked it would be legislated off the market. For the chirrens...

I have Laser jammers from ALP, love them!!!!
Never saw a RADAR jammer, they are not legal. FCC forbids radar jammers. FCC have not ruled on laser jammers YET.

Haha, ok. True about the FCC stuff. That didn't stop people from selling boxes claiming they can jam radar. They sold them anyway, because they didn't work.

Jamming radar is akin to jamming your local radio station signal. Try that. See how fast the feds are on your doorstep.

In the 90s Howard Stern was doing his show live from Cleveland. Someone from a competing local station actually physically cut the signal on a main feed line with a pair of tree pruners.

Stern's engineers got him back on the air via phone line and a modem. It's a pretty legendary story in Cleveland rock radio history.

The guy who cut the cord got 6 months.

Jamming radar is not easy. Unless we are talking ancient WWII tech. Even then you gotta know stuff. Stuff you probably can't google.

Laser is optical, and sticking a bunch of IR LEDs on your car is not gonna save you. I'm sure guys have blown through speed traps, gotten lucky and said "thank you Jammer!". I've done it without a jammer. How? I dunno, cop wasn't paying attention, or maybe he was just sitting on the side of the road eating lunch with the laser turned off, or looking for bigger fish. But people gotta justify their purchases, and man, falling for snake oil is a bitter pill.

Now I'm being rude. Triggers everywhere. I need a safe space.

Laser Jammers DO work!!
I have them front and rear on my car. I've done 4 installs total on my friends cars.
All 4 cars will Jam to Gun on the dragon eye. I was a certified in Laser so I know how to shoot a car.

So he admits he went to a meetup and needed to adjust his heads. So improper head aiming OR hes only running 2 heads up front. You need 3 heads to stop a dragon eye.

Did the quick math, Still cheaper to buy the laser jammers over 3 years..

What do I know, I'm only state qualified in Radar and Laser.

I have more speeding tickets on my record than anyone I know. No tickets in the last 3 years, just by sheer vigilance.

The best weapon is pattern recognition. But nobody makes money on that. What do I know? I'm just a blah blah blah RF engineer
