Just finished installing about 78 square feet of Noico 80 mil. in my trunk, rear deck, and the rear interior. It was a longer project than expected, but it got easier as time went on. In total I had the car apart for just under a month. I went for near full coverage in the trunk and rear deck, and did spot coverage when I was putting the interior back together.

Nice job! Very thorough. How was it to cut & lay ? What did you use to cut it?

Cutting was simple with a box cutter and a cheap pair of scissors. I used a heat gun and took a small roller, tennis ball, or finger tips for the tight spots.

What was the material cost?

Did you take a before decibel reading so you can compare to an after reading? Just wondering how much benefit you got.

Good to know. I hadn't heard of Noico 80 mil before your post. Saw a Utube review of it by a guy who used to be a car electronics installer who says it's as good as Dynomat, actually a little thicker and cheaper.

Total was $150.38
2x 36 square foot pack - $63.99
1x 10 square foot pack - $22.40

Sorry, I don't have any measurements before I started.

Thanks for the cost info. Please let me know how much difference it makes inside the car As far as deadening the road noise.

I bought an 18 ft. x 12inch roll of frost king duct insulation for around $ 20 bucks at lowes. self adhesive and about an 1/8 inch thick foil backed foam.

Sweet! Same thing I used, then I topped it with adhesive backed closed cell foam. I also threw some denim insulation in the rear quarter panel spaces. I used Noico and Soundskins door kit on the doors. Very nice products.

Dang OP, you went all out. You know that all you need is 25% coverage to be effective right? Anything more than that is just added weight and a waste of money IMO.
