Best place to hardwire???
Just bought a Thinkware dash cam...for parking mode, I need to hardwire the unit.
Can I tap anywhere in the cabin or just run it to the battery stud by fuse box? |

There are some threads on this. You can find switched 12v in the center console in headliner. The harness that feeds the home link has 12v switched that you can tap into.

I made my own harness for a few bucks, but this one is pretty nice and can get it with extra leads so you can run both a radar detector and dash cam from same harness. You’ll just need appropriate resistors to convert to proper voltage for your device if it’s not 12v.

Here is a good vid that shows how to make your own harness and where to find switched 12v in the headliner center console.

From what I read OP wants this for when parked. The tap in the headliner panel is from the airbag on/off light and is only powered when the engine is running. You can tap into the acc port under the center console, but that is only powered when IGN is on. There is no fuse box inside the car so if you want the camera powered all the time, you will have to find a 12V source that doesn't shut off, meaning you will likely have to get a wire to the fuse block under the hood or the trunk. Others have done this so there are likely threads about it.

Yep, I went ahead and ran the Thinkware hardwire to the engine bay...my only reasoning behind the dash cam was when I park at work or somewhere else!
