Best Setup for Jacking and Lifting these Cars?

Searched the forum and read through all the threads but not sure what would be the best items to order. It will go to the dealership (Albeit my dealership with my techs that I know) and be lifted up on a 4 point, but I will also probably lift it up in my garage from time to time to take wheels off and the like.

Thinking about installing a set of Lift Pads for the times when it's picked up by a 4 point lift, and then a Jack Pad and Puck for when I lift it up myself. Now, when I lift it up at home, I'll use the Jack pad to lift it up in the spot just behind the front Lift point (As shown in Lethal's video) but then can I put jacks stands on the semi-permanent Lift Pads? They look like they're kind of rounded.

We do have a drive on lift, but eventually it may go to a shop that doesn't have a drive on lift.

This brings up another point, most dealers/owners/techs know very little about this but it's a very serious deal and most cars are probably lifted up once a year or more. At least my dealerships will be educated on the matter I guess. I only wish that was the case for the rest of the dealerships that have misaligned cars and bent pieces/frames with improper lifting procedures. Most techs in my experience are pretty smart, but if they aren't given the information, then they don't know better.

Holy crap that seems a bit churched up. There are much cheaper options that work equally well.

Those look like a nice cheap option. Do you use those? Hell I could buy a set of those for all of my techs at a cheaper price than 1 set of the ZL1 Addons...But the reviews are pretty sketchy.

Might as well just get a couple of hockey pucks and cut a slot in them.

Race Ramps no question. I debated buying them for years and finally bought them a month or so ago. Absolutely love them. I also have the jack pads from ZL1 Add-ons but haven't needed to use them yet.

How do race ramps help with taking the weight off the wheels to get them off?

I didn't fully read the OP before posting but nonetheless the car will already be raised in the front so less time the jack has to contact and lower chance of incorrect placement.

I use a set like the ones from the link, and a couple other different shaped pads for a lot of my vehicle work, I think they work pretty well. I also have a set of the ZL1 Addons I will be installing, in case I need to have someone else work on the car, for the reasons you mentioned.

Yes I purchased a set. They fit perfectly inside the front inserts and they are just tight enough to hold them selves up there while you are maneuvering things. Just don't forget to take them out when you're done. Ask me why I am pointing this out. =)

I had that brilliant idea once as well and the puck ended up splitting in half. This was is better suited to this purpose.

I installed these. Way easier then laying on my side trying to line up a puck every time. https://zl1addons.com/products/jack-...nt=32532898689

I picked up a full set from ZL1ADDONS..... with the pucks. It works best to get the 3" pads for front and smaller for the rear. (The rear pinch welds have a turn in them and the 3" will not fit). I have a 4-Post with sliding RJ3500 sliding jack on it.... worked great. (I did though add some small "side" padding on the inner channel walls to keep the pinch weld as much in the center as possible. Just used some adhesive backed corked (super thin), two layers each side.

Are these tall enough to clear the rockers? That's my only concern.

I got the ZL1 Addons lift points for quick stuff around the garage and it makes it super easy for jacking.

I also have the Amazon special rubber pads and use them for jack stand work.
