Accessory Ignition/Run Position

Hello all--- 1st post with my 18' 2SS. Still learning alot about this vehicle and the first to own with push button start which leds me to my question. How do you place the vehicle in accessory/run mode -you know the first click forward in the old coloum rotary type switches? I'm thinking if the car is dead and need to place it in nuetral to push or turn the steering wheel.

Thanks!!

Just hold the button in for a few seconds with out putting your foot on the brake or clutch

Correct. You will need to hold the button for 8 seconds.

OK, thanks for the response. So I guess my next question would be what happens if there is a completely dead battery? How would one place the transmission in N to push the car without the aid of electronically going into accessory position? Thanks again in advance.
