Nissan GT-R vs Zl1

Looks like, roll on Camaro is a lil bit faster.

0-124mph(200kph) GT-R makes in 11.14sec. The Zl1 in 11.48sec

Ok, the Zl1 is RWD.

But look at the new M5 AWD. It makes 124 mph in just 9.96 sec.

That thing will own them both so easy...

I'm glad the dash finally caught up to 2010 standards but the center consoles still looks hardly better than every other commuter car out there.

I've owned both and honestly loved my GTR. I bought mine when they first came out and the exclusivity was great. IMHO they look great in person and sound amazing with an exhaust. However, I've not been this excited for a car as I am for my zl1 1le in some time. Can't wait for summer to drive it for a bit and get a real idea of what it is capable of.

European styling baby!

One of the gripes of the new Camaro from people is it looks "too aggressive." Not sure when people started to lose their balls?

GT-R looks sexy as hell, but for a $100k+ and that boring V6 sound.... no way.

Also, the fact that the newer models have killed off any chance of a manual transmission is super lame.

So, according to the above, looks like the M5 would be a deep 10 second 1/4 miler? OK, well according to Road & Track, "Sixty mph comes up in 3.2 seconds and 124 mph arrives in 11.1. Top speed, when equipped with the optional M Driver's Package, is 189 mph."

If you can afford it get the GT-R if not ZL1 all the way I’m actually looking at moving into the GT-R this year, modded there monsters on street tires. Also the newer GT-R’s are a bit slower 13-14 is what I would call there sweet spot for best years to own.

Nice to see that ZL1 lay down though impressive!

And the lowly ZL1 will utterly destroy both on a road course while the 1LE package will make them piss themselves.

About $130,000 as tested by Motor Trend.

The GTR had a best Nurburgring time of 7:08. The 2018 ZL1 1LE had a best time of 7:16. I love my Camaro, and wouldn't pay the difference to move to a GTR...but...the GTR is one of the few production cars that is a better track car than the ZL1. More expensive, yes, but better on the track.
