Axle Back install cost?

Just got my Hurst Axle back (flowmaster, basically) that retains the dual mode option. This is for the 1LE.

Before I head out to a muffler shop, what should I expect to pay for install? I believe it's cutting and then clamping it on, no welding.

I can't wait to get more growl for this beast

$100-$150 is what you should hear from quotes.

This ^ (or sawzall and some good ramps, safer)

Use ramps and you can get under the car a lot easier and have more room to move around.

I live in a Townhouse and my next door neighbor will (and has) reported me for working on my cars. I have to take it off site anyway. Also, I don't trust myself to do a clean install. When I had my friend help on my 2015 GT with the catback, the tips were misaligned and we couldnt get it right. Bugged me.

So, I'd rather have a pro do it.

Last time I checked it's not illegal to work on your own car in your garage... Lol what was the reason?

Probably association rules or bylaws.
It was like that in my old apartment, but luckily enough the garage was deep enough where I had a bunch of room with the door closed.

She saw me working on my 17 STi (installing axle back, was bolt on only) and she reported me. I got a warning letter.

Anyway, I ended up taking it to a local muffler shop. They did a great job. It wasn't cheap, but I have no complaints with the install or service.
