How wide can you go??

So I am thinking of purchasing the MRR Designs model 228 (z28 replicas) in 9 inch front and 10 inc rears. I was interested in going 315's in he rear (I currently have 305s on the stock rims) and I was wondering if this is possible without having to do modifications such as wheel spacers. Anyone with experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

yup your car requires 305 sizing, I would recommend using a 20x10 front with 285/30/20 and a 20x11 rear with 305/30/20

way back when the 6th gen camaro was released we had a set of M228 that we did on a 5th gen and just for kicks we slapped in on the new 6th gen with the 315 rear tires and that thing rubbed like crazy plus the rubbing happens exactly where a wire harness is so if you hear rubbing make sure is not there or it will get expensive.

here is what a 20x10 and 11 will look like

Member went large. But with Pilot Super Sports
They are not as square a sidewall.
They are an option. Just do the wire harness tie back to be safe. Maybe have a 2mm spaced handy as well if needed.

Lol I am embarrassed to say I already destroyed the wires in that harness with my current 305 setup so I learned the hard way :(. Luckily I was able to reroute after it was repaired. In any case isn't going 285 in the front going to slow down my MPH significantly at the trade off for more grip? Lastly, do you have any pics of the rims in black on a white car by any chance?

WELL CONSIDER THIS, The factory ZL1 and also ZL1/1Le come with
285/30/20 and 305/30/20 as a oem size and im sure Chvy will not compromise the performance aspect on these cars.

also let me see if i can locate some pics.
