Alabama (Central) Tuning options

Can anyone suggest options for tuning in central AL? I'll be FBO soon with the headers going on last. I know there are some excellent remote tuners on here but I hate to overlook someone in my backyard.

There is a guy named Clyde Carlson in Huntsville that can tune it for you. He can be found on Huntsville Racing on Facebook. That is all I know.

Thanks, I've found a local (Scott Culbert) that dyno tunes in the Birmingham area.

I'm interested in anyone as well. I know of several places that would probably tune but their reputation is unknown to me.

I don't know Scott personally. I was referred to him by Bo White who has been using Scott for a while. I have just finished installing all of my bolton's so now I just have to get up the $'s for the tune. I'll let you guys know the results

My original plan was to go the remote tune route but, the cost of hptuners and the tune on top of that would have been around $1000 or more if I get a wide band. For less than 1/2 that price I can get Scott to dyno tune the car.

I think I may have seen you driving in liberty park a while back. I have a red 2ss that will be full bolt soon as well.

Yea, That was probably me. Tag is 2SS4POP. We need the Alabama Camaro group to organize a get together.

agreed. I'd love to get together and talk about cars with guys that appreciate them vs kids that want their hondas to be "moar lowd"

Agreed! Do you guys go to cars and coffee? A Mustang friend of mine and I are going to Steele Friday night. I just got tuned with e85 and Pray Performance IM/TB and want to see how it does.

I've wanted to go to cars and coffee for sometime now, but my 65-70 hour a week work schedule hasn't allowed it. thankfully we're on the backside of it and I should have more time to attend some soon.

let me know how steele goes for you, the last time I went (now, this was *years* ago), it was riddled with huge potholes in the shutdown lanes.

Apparently the track has been resurface. I'll post up results and observations.
