Good numbers I'd say.

Those are retarded gains.....the area under the curve is ridiculous!

Also you can see the A/F ratio of both my ported TB runs getting a bit too rich up top which is why the power falls off there (its well into the 11's at that point which is too rich even for boosted engines that like more fuel).

Thanks for posting up these results....the car must feel a hell of alot more perky with the upgrades!

Cheers,
Tony

PS....Not sure how much WOT time has been on the car with the ported TB but the richer A/F ratio may lean out some given the computer more time to adjust fuel trims etc. which would bring even more peak power to the table if that happens.

Yes, only drove back home a couple of miles but it feels like lost pounds!! More responsive, i will share more comments during the week when I will use it again, but again feels like a lighter car, respond quickly!

The TB was changed and only made 3 pulls after, I think that the computer will improve the AFR as you say with a couple of miles.

Thanks for respond always so quickly!

5-10% more torque from 3000 to 4500 rpm? That’s impressive. Well done.

Why is the stock graph so smooth and the two runs with the ported TB so jagged? Did you see more knock retard with the PTB?

I have the same “mods” and the car feels quicker than stock for sure. I have no dyno to back it up but on track, my car seems faster overall. Nice gains!

The area under the curve is huge compared to the minor peak gains. It's got to be worth a couple tenths at the drag strip.

My guess would be it was on factory tune and not tuned for the new tb?

The red one was the first pull just arrived, then tried 2 more and got 548 and 547whp. Changed the TB in less than 10 min and tried again, and it got almost same peak power but better power before 5000 rpm and better torque (we did two pulls and the same ) so we let it cool it down 20 min and pull again and got the almost 562 whp and better tirque gaon so we compared the two colder runs but i think the first one was the coolest one, maybe it has some relation with the smooth of the curve. For the filter we wait 10 min and got a little better whp and torque.
Here is a photo when we first compared the first stock pull against the only TB pull after 20 min of cooling down, look the 23 whp improvement in the zone pointed. Looks less jerky on it.
Maybe Tony or another can comment abouth the curve peaks.

In the runs when it was hot i do not remember exactly but It gained tq too, around 30 pounds and 7/15 whp in the power band ( nothing at peak or lose 1 whp).

After the ZL1, i picked up my other car,a full bolt ons Mustang gt 2014, and tested because I had a reference from another dynojet but that was when i did it to search a problem in a sensor and was running too rich for months (oxygen sensor random problem) then I repaired it and felt the change, so I took yesterday after the ZL1 to compare and see how my butt dyno was working..and with the problem in the older dyno got 408whp and 374 torque, now got 422whp and 401 torque. Btw the dyno is to compare before and after and it always got gains with the TB in low and mid power band, and as Tony said it was only a few runs after the change so it can get a better trim fuel in a couple of miles, but it feels lighter no doubt..
Other dyno and running with the problem in the sensor:

New dyno and the car repaired
