Bought my 2017 Camaro SS this past November, needless to say I love this car a lot better than my previous car (guess from my name), however I feel disrespected when people see me come out of my car and ask how old I am and how/why I bought my car, or just surprised. Anyone else around my age feel this way? I guess this part of south jersey they don't see too many loud V8, blacked out Camaros.

I'm newly 24 with two and a half jobs, paid with my own money and been saving my $$ for a few years now. I do work at a College so I guess they think I'm a spoiled college kid or something. Just expressing my thoughts here.

Im 24 too. Not really any negative comments, though people in San Diego are pretty cool haha. Plus, plenty of people my age drive even more expensive/powerful cars...

I have got a few dirty looks and smart comments from some guys, but got the look of love from their wife's and girlfriends.

For sure! My coworker, who is 49, is always busting my balls about it and how I should've gotten a car with better MPG...thats why I have a 4 banger beater to get me to and from work and the gym, the weekends are for my 455 horses.

I'm 78 and the only comments that I get are 1)nice car, and 2)how can you get in and out of that at your age? The answer to that is "with great difficulty". I don't care what others have to say, I really enjoy this car.

People are always going hate don’t know why. People should be happy for others having nice things and strive for the same. Sometimes I get the same type of reactions in the small community where I live . You think the Camaro is bad try driving multiple Chevy sports cars.

Exactly, however, I'm not going to lie I'd be curious too on how you can afford both cars, especially with a house! How do you like the SS compared to the ZL1 LE?

Lol literally no one even talks like that but it must be. It could be worse though I could have a Mustang and attempt to peel out and rev my engine anytime there is estrogen in the area...
