Traded '15 SS for new '17 2LT

My brother, who owns a mustang GT said "oh -so now you have a 2 for Impala" -breaking my chops. (I do own a '16 LTZ also)
I'm actually enjoying this 2LT more that the 2015 2SS. First of all it's new and I like all the tech stuff this new one has that the SS didn't. There's definitely none of that low end torque that the SS had for sure but it's ok. I'm old and 335 hp is ok enough and when it's moving, if I hit it, it moves and sounds good.
So I guess I'm an exception in trading to new but from 6.2 to 3.6 and enjoying it more. Plus I have nowhere to store another set of wheels and tires and it was depressing with the colder temperatures here to not be able to drive the SS with summer/performance tires. So that's my story/update and I'm stickin to it.
I just like the refined design and I like to drive it. All Camaros look good to me. Glad to own my second one.
My trade in is in the background of a couple of these pictures.

Congrats, looks nice the white and black wheels- did you get the A8 or manual 6 speed? I did something similar- went from 2011 2SS to 2017 2 LT. I like the smaller size, lighter weight and more cut looks of the 6th gen. Hopefully you will love the car and not have problems with it. I regret not getting an SS- the gas mileage seems to the same between the two from what I read and my 2LT A8 is yielding me only 24 MPG mostly highway, 45-55 MPH back roads cruising. It also could be that my trans is slipping, the RPM's go up and down and do not hold steady at the same cruising speed. Hopefully you got the manual trans......

Yeah the Gen 5 interior sucked, imo. Buttons and switches for everything made NO SENSE. Door lock/unlock on center console....really? A/C controls were confusing. And the volt meter, oil temp, etc gauges on below the radio were gaudy as hell to me.

Gen 6 is amazing.
