Ugly spoiler

The OEM spoiler looks really generic, like it belongs on a 1990s Pontiac Grand Prix. Has anyone replaced theirs with something more sporty looking? (Z06 style spoiler would be badass)

Many have swapped to the ZL1 1LE wing. Lots of debate about of it risks damage to 2017 decklids.

I am not normally a wing spoiler kind of guy, but I have to admit it would be an improvement!

I like the wicker bill style rear spoiler too. Form, function and sexy.

I was never a wing guy (probably because of the "ricer" thing) until AM built the Vulcan. I guess that expanded my aerodynamic consciousness. When Chevy debuted the ZL1 1LE, I was completely sold. Love the ZR1 as well.

I guess it's all about what floats your boat. At least you can adjust a wicker bill if your front end starts floating at speed (without enhancing your front end aero). Like ninetres suggested, decklid reinforcement may be needed if you go wing.

I think if Chevy engineers thought a wicker bill would be beneficial then they would have put it.

I'm building one for drag racing as you can see in my Sig. Its a lay down small version of a prostock spoiler.

I wasn't crazy about the factory wing/spoiler when I first saw it in pictures, but after seeing it in person, I really like it. So far I've not seen anything I'd replace it with.

Agreed. Even tho to me, boring in looks, it does fit the profile of the car. The wing is the least of my concerns.

Definitely. Looks way better in my opinion. Anyone know if the SS 1LE spoiler has the same mounts and footprint as the ZL1 spoiler? I don't mind a little cross-model schizophrenia if I can easily swap back when I go to resell some day.

I didn't like the wing initially but now its growing on me.... at least acceptable now. I wonder how it would look with some risers so it would sit higher instead of having to purchase the zl1 1le wing.

Well said. Would’ve liked the opportunity to option a blade or wicker bill
